Wireless Carriers

Some of the wireless carriers that are most prominent today are: T-Mobile, Cingular, Sprint Nextel, Verizon Wireless and Century Tel. Each company is going to have different service plans to sell you. Where you live will determine a lot about the service you get. Even in more remote areas of the country there are more and more bases being established so that you don’t have to pay roaming charges and also have to continually be saying, ”can you hear me now”? To decide your home coverage area you need to evaluate your lifestyle. Where are your farthest calls going to go? Where will you be traveling on a daily or weekly basis?

You will make decisions sure that your plan will cover the largest area. As mentioned earlier, roaming charges are implemented as soon as you are calling outside your home coverage area. You will pay long distance rates and possibly other usage fees due to the fact you might even be using a different carrier. Next you will need to decide whether you will be a light, medium, or heavy user of your cell phone. Obviously, you will be charged according to the amount of time used o the cell phone. If you are going to be using your cell phone a minimal amount of time you get buy ‘so many minutes’ for a nominal monthly charge. The rates go up accordingly. There are of course the plans where you can have anytime minutes plus 1, 000 to 5,000 minutes nights and weekends. Would a person not be concerned the phone would become permanently attached with that many hours on the phone? At the time of this report, T Mobile and Verizon are the top contenders for the best plans and overall customer satisfaction.
